This position will include:
Oversee, direct, and manage the food and beverage outlets for the hotels including the restaurant, lounge, bar and room service.
Ensuring that customers receive high-quality meals and drinks and superb customer service.
General administrative tasks related to budgeting, staffing, stocking supplies, promotion and hotel strategy.
Monitoring the outlet's cleanliness and adherence to food and drink safety laws.
Hiring outlets staff and performing regular performance reviews.
Strategizing with top management about new dining options and programs.
Helping cook and serve meals and beverages when necessary.
Forecasting demand to appropriately schedule food service employees and to order inventory.
Arranging outlets meetings to communicate key information.
Managing costs to increase the profitability of the food and beverage outlets of the hotel.
Handling employee payroll and scheduling.
Helping in outside catering and banquets when needed

Must be flexible for day or night shifts, as well, split shifts if necessary

Knowledge & Education
Preferably certification or Bachelor's degree in hospitality management
Must have complete knowledge and understanding of all the company’s policies, standards and procedures, as well as being familiar with Provincial labor and safety regulations
Food service knowledge and supervisory experience
General knowledge of tourism industry and attractions in the immediate area
Knowledge of hotel management computer system and POS system
Smart Serve Certification
Food Handler Certification
Industry Experience
A minimum of one-year management related experience is required.
