The Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan is hiring!

What You Will Do:

• Maintain a neat and clean environment for visitors.
• Take part in laundry duties, as required.
• Wash floors of guest bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other assigned areas, as required.
• Dust and sanitize furniture and clean, polish, and sanitize appliances.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Wash doors, windows, walls, and bathroom ceilings.
• Maintain bedroom and bathroom linen and amenities.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Cares about their appearance and follows uniform and dress code standards.
• Works cooperatively with others.
• Is available for shifts and weekend work.
• Must have physical stamina to maintain a rigorous pace of work.
• Is able to perform efficiently under pressure and within time restraints.
• Applies safe work practices.
• Is able to operate and perform routine maintenance on equipment located in the housekeeping department.
• Has the ability to handle and solve customer related concerns and report to supervisor, as necessary.

Please Be Aware:

• The job requires standing for long periods of time.
• Some physical labour and heavy lifting is required.

Skill Requirements:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.

Knowledge and Training:

• Knowledge of WHMIS program.

Industry Experience:

• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
