Description of Duties:
Lead new hire training, focusing on product knowledge and selling and service tools and techniques
Provide training and in the moment coaching and feedback in order to encourage professional development and growth
Continuously evolve and elevate the guest experience, in partnership with hotel management and executives
Offer support with additional projects that build community and enhance employee experience
Ensuring the full team is up to date on all training and service guidelines
Positively communicating hotel and company policies and strategies
Updating management and executive team on sales, targets, and the status of goals on a regular basis
Interacting with guests within the hotel, ensuring an exceptional guest experience to each individual
Perform security walkthroughs of the entire hotel premise
Ensure hotel standards are being followed and reviewed regularly
Ensure department procedures (open & closing duties, cleaning lists) are being adhered to.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the General Manager.

Must wear professional and appropriate attire
Must have a well-groomed appearance at all times
Must be able to perform efficiently under pressure and within time constraints
Must be honest and trustworthy
Must have ability to work cooperatively with all hotel employees
Must be aware of all company policies, procedures, amenities and services
Must be flexible for day or night shifts

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to team members and guests
Self-motivated, and enjoys problem solving
Positive attitude towards the hotel and the hotel industry in general
Must have the ability to handle and solve customer related concerns and complaints and report to management as necessary
Knowledge and Education:
Degree in hotel management or years of experience in lieu of
Must have complete knowledge and understanding of all the company’s policies, standards and procedures, as well as being familiar with Provincial labor and safety regulations
General knowledge of tourism industry and attractions in the immediate area
Knowledge of hotel management computer system and POS system
Customer Service
Industry Experience:
Two or more (2+) years of sales and training experience
