The Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre is currently seeking a part-time Line Cook to join our team.
This position will include:
Preparing all food orders per specification sheets as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Keeping work area stocked, organized and clean at all times.
Ensure work areas and equipment are kept functional and orderly at all times, reporting any deficiencies as necessary.
Attend department staff meeting as required.
Responsible for daily product production according to preparation list(s).
Prepare and issue products requested by requisition for other departments.
Ensure fridges, freezers, storerooms and areas where food is stored are kept secure.
Assist with receiving and proper storage of all deliveries.
Perform any other job related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Who we are looking for:
A hardworking, knowledgeable and proactive individual with at least one year of food industry experience.
Always willing to jump in and help whenever required.
Preference will be given to individuals with Food Safe certification
Must be able to start immediately.
Evening and weekend work will be required.
