Anchor D is a short 50-minute drive from the Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in High River, Alberta. The drive itself is absolutely beautiful as you travel from the prairie landscape through the foothills toward the mountains.
From the moment you travel under the ‘Anchor D’ sign at the end of the drive, you feel welcomed. Here you will find your inner cowboy/cowgirl. Anchor D offers two and three-hour trail rides from the ranch, ranch and mountain day rides, 3-7 day pack trips, and hay and sleigh rides.
Anchor D Ranch Guiding & Outfitting is not your typical horseback riding operation. You truly feel like part of the family when you visit. The ranch staff takes the time to get to know you and to match you with the right horse to fit your riding ability and ensure an enjoyable ride.
