Alberta Restriction Exemption Program

As per the Alberta Government's recent announcement, the Heritage Inn implemented the Restrictions Exemption Program (REP). This applies to our patios, restaurants, lounges, bars, meeting rooms, atriums, banquets, pools, hot tubs, fitness rooms and saunas. Screening must be conducted at point of entry.

All guests aged 12 and over (born in 2009 and prior) must provide the following each and every time they wish to enter any and each of our above-mentioned facilities. To ensure privacy of our customer, we will not be collecting, retaining or storing any of their personal health information.

Valid Photo Identification showing name and birth date (for 18 years and older) with either:

a. Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination as long as it matches the Photo ID and the dose was given more than 2 weeks prior to time of service.

  • From September 20 to October 25, single dose vaccination is acceptable.

  • After October 25, full vaccination is required with the second at least 14 days prior. An individual is “fully vaccinated'' two weeks after their second dose of an approved 2- dose vaccine such as the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, or AstraZeneca/COVID-Shield vaccines or 2-dose combination or a single dose of the approved Janssen vaccine.

b. Written or printed proof of privately-paid Health Canada approved rapid antigen, rapid PCR or lab-based PCR negative test results completed within the previous 72 hours of service. Test results must clearly outline the type of test, date and time of sample collection, clear indication of a negative result, and the laboratory/company name that completed the test. No self-test, self-produced, photo or digital copy of a test will be accepted. Alberta Health Services or Alberta Precision Laboratories tests are not allowed.

**A valid photo identification can be a birth certificate, citizenship card, driver’s license, Provincial or Territorial Government issued identification card, certificate of Indian Status, Treaty Card, Metis card, Inuit Status card, passport or Permanent Resident Card.

The following are acceptable Proof of Vaccinations and must include the individual’s name, birthdate, vaccine type and date(s) of the dose (to account for the 2 weeks).

  • Picture or paper record of a valid AHS MyHealth Records, pharmacy, First Nations, or physician immunization record.

  • Canadian armed forces immunization record

  • Immunization record from another province or territory

  • For international travelers, the ArriveCan app code and a valid international travel identification document.

  • A valid Government of Alberta Vaccination QR code (when available) will be accepted.

Masking is still required in all indoor public spaces as per the current provincial restrictions.
